Description

Mouliné Étoile stranded embroidery thread for cross stitch and embroidery.

Use this thread for a delicate twinkle, shimmer and sparkle effect. A cotton thread with added subtle twinkle, it is easier to use than metallic thread.

This skein of thread is eight metres long and comes in six strands. The strands are easy to separate. It is 73% cotton and 27% metallic polyamide.

DMC do not give specific washing instructions for this thread. If you cannot avoid washing a piece of work sewn with this thread, use a mild soap and hand wash only at a low temperature.  Take into account the care guidelines for the fabric you have used. Roll your washed embroidery gently in a towel to remove excess water, ensuring the embroidery does not touch upon itself, before drying flat. Then place your work face down on a clean cloth, preferably while still damp, and iron on the reverse side, with a warm iron, with another cloth on top of your work.
